Indoor camping can be a fun activity either you have kids or you are just the two of you. You can go fancy or keep it simple, today we want to show you the basics.
2. S’Mores – if you are living in a house that has a fireplace, indoor S’Mores are a must. Just light the fire and gather all the family around it. You will need: marshmallows, chocolate, biscuits or graham crackers and some marshmallow roasting sticks. Cook the marshmallow, sandwich the chocolate between the cracker and the hot marshmallow. Allow the marshmallow to cool a moment before eating.
3. Imagination – sharing stories is a great activity. If you don’t know any, here and here you can find inspiration. Or you can opt for a crowdsource stories. To “crowdsource” something means to solicit ideas from a group of people in order to improve the end product. Having your kids or friends provide story ideas is a great way to stimulate their imaginations and make the story interactive.
4. Play games – When it gets dark, use the flashlight to make different shadow puppets on the wall or check this collection of games.
5. Music – If any of your friends have hidden banjo or harmonica talents, now’s the time for them to showcase their skills! In the (likely) event that you can’t throw together an impromptu folk band, just whip up a playlist filled with twangy tunes.
Any other ideas?
