FAQ
Do I need tools, clamps, or glue?
No tools needed. Push the 1/2″ tube into the fitting until it seats; press 1/4″ tube fully over the barbs. For stiff micro-tube, warm the tip in water for 10–15 seconds.
What does the 4-way 1/2″ → 1/4″ connector do?
It’s a mini manifold: push your 1/2″ mainline into the PTC port, then branch out four 1/4″ laterals from the barbed outlets to feed multiple rows, beds, or containers.
What are the 1/4″ tee splitters for?
They split a single 1/4″ line into two—handy for navigating corners, watering two plants from one lateral, or balancing short runs.
Why the 1/4″ end plugs?
They cap the end of 1/4″ runs to stop flow and make seasonal flushing quick and clean.
What pressure range do these fittings support?
Designed for typical outdoor supplies: 20–45 PSI. If your pressure is higher, add a regulator upstream.
Are the fittings reusable? How do I disconnect them?
Yes. For 1/2″ PTC, press the release collar and pull the tube straight out. For 1/4″ barbed, twist while pulling; trim a clean, square end before re-seating if the tip is stretched.
How do I prevent clogs? Can I run liquid fertilizer?
Use a faucet filter, keep lines off bare soil where possible, and flush end plugs periodically. You can run water-soluble fertilizer—flush with clear water afterward.
